How will we implement my job search? (How our very specialized executive coaching is focused)
We are told that our approach is very similar to developing and implenting a business plan in that it includes objectives, benchmarks, action plans and deadlines. You and your consultant will start by clearly defining your objectives, developing a strategic focus, constructing a decision model by which to evaluate job opportunities, and formalizing an initial action plan. It continues with the comprehensive and proactive help you will receive one hour per week from your personal career consultant during the first month of launching your job search and a half hour each week thereafter. You will also receive throughout your job search the deliverables from the professional job search specialists, who are appreciated both for their valuable contributions to your search and for all the time they save you too. Those deliverables from each of the specialists will flow to you through your career consultant so that you and your consultant completely control your program.
We will initially document for your review, revision and ultimate approval what you and your consultant determine to be your objectives, strategic focus, decision model, and launch plan. Then from that point forward you will continue to visit weekly with your career consultant, who will offer executive coaching to help keep you organized and focused, guide your job search efforts and help keep you moving forward toward meeting your objectives. Your executive search consultant will also work with you to stay on track with your job search plan or to suggest when you might want to consider adjusting your plan in order to better achieve objectives. However, you will always be in charge of your plan and implementation of your job search.
In between your structured weekly executive coaching visits with your consultant, you will be receiving too the benefits of our professional job search specialists. That team of professional resume writers, researchers and job lead developers will be providing you with valuable deliverables to help make your job search more effective. Since each executive's job search is different, these services will be customized to meet your objectives for your particular job search.
Overall, you will receive executive coaching help with every aspect of your job search from resume preparation, to working with an executive search consultant or executive search firm, to interviewing, to negotiating your job offer, to helping with virtually anything else where you seek our counsel. Having mentioned resume preparation, this is a good point to mention that our resume style and format for executives has been researched and proven to be one of the most market-driven and well-received resume approaches available anywhere.
